Happy New Year to Everyone!

As most of you know, we are adding another member to
our family.  Baby #7 is due to arrive April 15th...   a due date for LOTS
of folks!! I'm very sorry my website is not up to date
as there is a reason for this.

For several months, we've pondered what to do with
Appalachian Scrappin' Retreats in light of our new
baby coming. I absolutely love hosting retreats and
I've met some truly WONDERFUL people through my
business. I've been very torn on what I should do.

After endless prayer and conversations with my
husband, it is with a very heavy heart that I have
decided to simplify my life and retire from hosting
retreats for awhile. We feel this is the best decision
for our family at this point in our lives. My oldest
will be a senior in high school next year--I want to
be around for those experiences as he will be leaving
for college and I won't have him home anymore. 

All my children are growing so fast...every year I'm
amazed at how fast the time goes.

I want to personally thank each and every one of my
customers for your support and loyalty to Appalachian
Scrappin' Retreats. I feel so very blessed for having
the opportunity to meet some of the greatest ladies in
the world through our passion for scrapbooking. I've
had some of the best times of my life with you gals.

I hope this finds you and yours starting off 2008 with
happy hearts and peaceful souls.
