What Should I Bring ?

Wear comfortable clothing and be sure to wear layers. The temperature of the room cannot be perfect for each person so you may need a sweater while your neighbor wishes she was wearing shorts! Most hotels tend to keep the air conditioning on the cool side and the heat on the hot side.

Bring as much of your own cropping supplies and equipment as you can carry. You will have 3 -4 feet of personal cropping space, so organize your supplies to be readily available within your reach.  Bring your tag-along drink holder to keep your drink off the table.  Drinks and snacks will be provided in our cropping room, but you may want to bring some of your own favorite snacks.  You can bring a small cooler to keep drinks in.  I provide bottled water and packaged snacks like Oreos, crackers, chocolate, etc.

If you are a person who has trouble distinguishing paper colors under overhead lights, then you may wish to bring a table-top lamp. Don't forget to bring your layout contest entries (either original in a protector or color copies). Above all, bring a great attitude! Be ready to try new techniques and to share your own expertise.  Come ready to relax and meet new friends and have fun!

We will provide a stereo to play CD's throughout the retreat.    If you would like to bring along your favorite CD's , we will be happy to play them. Bear in mind that everyone's taste in music is different. We reserve the right to refuse playing any music deemed inappropriate for a group setting.
